After buying the brush bundle from Rens, I got an email where I could join the school and I am very happy that I came across the youtube video of the brushes, otherwise I would never meet these wonderful people who are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Rens for bringing this community together with all your hard work and help. Would recommend it to anyone.

The most over-complicated way to remove a background in software I've ever tried. Photoshop 6 could do it easier than this. They really need to redo this because it's a pain.

This is the most welcome I've felt in a community of people made up of beginners and novices alike! Everyone is an important part of the family and Rens treats each of us with the utmost respect and care. He is very helpful and quick to answer any questions we might have. Have been watching Ren's videos for awhile. He is very informative, and his teaching style is easy to follow along to. Just recently joined the community. So excited to see others work, expand my skills, and have fun and be challenged while being creative.

I like photo compositions and joined Affinity Photo Creative as soon as it opened. You can learn a lot and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Very important for me: it's a protected place where not everyone can just snoop around. You have to register to get in.

Just Signed up as a member of the APC and it's everything I've been looking for in regards to learning Affinity Photo!

I too have been a member since the beginning and learnt some cool stuff. Rens is very knowledgeable, supportive and explains things clearly. The community is very friendly, as well as talented, and there are also quite a view tutorial videos posted by members. Recommended.

Awesome Group

The Affinity Photo Creatives Community is very welcoming and supportive, particularly for someone like me who is pretty new to "photo compositing". Rens is pouring his heart and soul into this project and it really shows his passion for helping others achieve their photo manipulation goals. I have participated in the "Monthly Challenges" because it forces me out of my comfort zone and allows me, as my time permits, to work on my composition a little at a time throughout the month. One of my favorite parts of the APC Community is the feedback and support provided from the members with suggestions and techniques that help me learn how to improve my work. Thanks Rens, for all you do.

For years, I’ve been using Affinity Photo as a photographer. I wanted to do something more with my photos, so I decided to try my hand at photo manipulation. At the end of June 2024, I joined Affinity Photo Creatives (APC). I still have a lot to practice, but in the group, you can find inspiration and ask questions when you’re unsure of how to proceed. There are also all kinds of videos and assets available, not just from @Rens van Dalen, but also from other members. Be sure to check out this group!

Yeah you’ve gotta do this if you’re trying to learn Affinity Photo. This is a community quite unlike any others I’ve been part of.

I joined the community as a result of seeing this video yesterday and I've already found so many resources to help spark some more inspiration. The community has been very welcoming and it's great to see somewhere you can float ideas and get some excellent constructive feedback. Great to see a creative fostering a community, rather than just talking about it on UA-cam and pretending their subscriber base has a good level of interaction.

Who else still only have the first version and haven't upgraded and would like videos tutorials or video explaining how to do this with version one 🤔 well hopefully someone can teach this for version one or can you learn videos demonstrating for version two for v1

Left Adobe about 2 months ago and bought Affinity

No one leaves Adobe, we just pirate them even harder! You can''t tell me that Affinity is an a good alternative for a professional. There are tons of artboard solutions, that doesn't even exist in Affinity. I tried, but the experiance was awful. If you are a person over 50 yo, and your main job is to print t-shirts, yeah, go with affinity. But if you produce houndred of images per day (sometimes like today, thousand slightly different ones), you need to use Adobe. I am proudly pirating their software, and I even mail them about it, just so they know what they are doing!

My unrelated question being: How did you get the brush panel underneath your layers panel? I'm new to Affinity and mine is still showing a second lion image at the bottom right of the screen. lol

I bought Affinty v1 during Covid lockdown. Bought v2 universal license as soon as it was released. I just want android support. Please please please. Support Samsung and Google and make the rest deal with quirks. I love the iPad affinity apps but hate iPad.
